​​​​​Dr. Jimmy K. So, OD is a highly skilled and compassionate optometrist who has been serving patients in his community for more than 30 years. He is a member of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists (IALVS), a prestigious organization dedicated to providing expert care to patients with low vision.

Dr. So’s passion for optometry began at a young age when he experienced vision problems himself. His experiences motivated him to pursue a career in optometry so that he could help others who were struggling with vision issues. He attended the UC Berkeley School of Optometry, where he received extensive training in the latest vision care techniques and technologies.

After graduating, Dr. So began practicing optometry and quickly earned a reputation as a trusted and compassionate provider. He is known for his ability to connect with patients on a personal level and his commitment to providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

In his practice, Dr. So offers a wide range of vision services and treatments, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and treatment for conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. He is also highly skilled in low vision rehabilitation, helping patients with vision impairments to maximize their remaining vision and improve their quality of life.
